Worship Team

“Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.”
Hebrews 13:15

One of the ways to offer worship and praise to God is through music.  It is a privilege to be a part of the team that leads the church family in worship through music when we come together in a corporate setting.  There is something exciting and powerful when we worship together with others.  We see it as important, therefore it is worth putting thought and preparation into what we do.

With this in mind we have a few guidelines to help our music ministry be more effective, of one mind and as cohesive as possible so we can effectively lead others in true worship:

• Have a personal faith;
• Have regular time of personal prayer and worship;
• Possess a well developed music ability of a competent standard;
• Be teachable and be seeking to develop musically;
• Be a team player; and
• Be reliable and have good communication.

Practice times are currently Sunday mornings, but this may change as our team grows.
