Our KidzChurch programs caters for children from toddlers to Grade 6. We aim to have a Christ-centered, fun time together, exploring the bible creatively. Our focus is not just on the children, but also the family as a whole.
At the beginning of Sunday morning service the whole church family meet for a short worship time together after which the children are invited to be part of the KidzChurch programs.
Children aged 3 years to Prep meet in the Kinder room to experience a play-based program. Through simple play, story times and craft corners we help them understand the love of Jesus Christ. A fruit snack at the table sitting in the group will be their first introduction to small group time. A team of dedicated KidzChurch leaders and helpers interact with the children and guide them through this time.
Grade 1 to Grade 6 aged children meet in the craft room for their own service time.
After a child orientated worship time with singing, prayer and story or drama, the children break up into their age appropriate groups to deepen their understanding of the teaching through craft, games and small group discussions.
A family service is held on a regular basis to further aid the understanding that our children are part of the church as a whole – we are a big family in Jesus Christ.
We want children to feel safe and excited to be at KidzChurch, and for parents to feel happy and comfortable to leave their children in our care.
KidzChurch is headed up by Regi McKinlay.
